Sleaford Barge Netball Tournament
Sleaford Barge Netball Club are holding two netball tournaments. The U14 and U16 section will take place on Saturday 13th July and the senior section will take place on Saturday 7th September, both at St George’s Academy.

Moll Buzzers Annual Tournament
Moll Buzzers NC had arranged their 7th annual David Jenkins Memorial Tournament to take place on 14th July at Wilsthorpe Community School, Derby Road, Long Eaton. Funds raised will be donated to The Jessica Hope Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/thejessicahopefoundation) and Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. Tournament- clubs and individuals
Soar Valley college will host a netball tournament on 1st June where clubs or individuals can enter. Lunch is provided in the entry fee and no experience is necessary, so encourage those who may not have taken up playing netball yet! For further information, see their notice

Regional Celebration Event
We are delighted to invite you to our Annual Celebration Event which incorporates the regional Goalden Globe Awards. The event is to be held on Sunday 30th June 2013 at the Radisson Blu Hotel at East Midlands Airport from 12:30-3:30pm. Should you wish to purchase a ticket at just £15pp including a two course meal, email eastmidlands@englandnetball.co.uk.

Brigg and District Tournament
Brigg and District NC are holding a tournament for various age groups across three dates. Fundraising activities will take place on all dates as well as a BBQ.

Tibshelf Games
A Back to Netball Festival is being held on Saturday 6th July 2013. The tournament is organised as part of the 'Active Tibshelf Annual Celebrations' and to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
There will be many fun activities including Inflatable slides, rodeo bull, bungee run, sumo suits, paint ball, crazy golf, golf driving net, Oz Box, tag rugby, climbing wall, B.M.X bikes and more. There will be plenty to eat and drink with a BBQ. As well as having a great day participating in netball, there are many activities for your family to enjoy too- it's a fun day for all!
If you wish to enter a team (or two) please see the registration form and return by 17th May.

TFC thankful for Regional League
TFC recently were crowned champions of the East Midlands Regional League division 1. This has earned them the right to play off for a place in the Premier League. They wrote to the Regional Management Board about the volunteers they are thankful for who make the Regional League happen. Read their letter here

A charity tournament has been arranged to take place on Sunday 7th July at Stamford Junior School, Lincoln. The closing date for entries is Friday 7th June and entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Money raised will be donated to St John Ambulance. Opportunity to deliver netball in Spain
The Sports Development officer in Gran Alacant, Spain would like to start clubs in the area for Spanish and non Spanish residents with the intention of moving into the local schools. The focus, like all female sports is to increase participation of women and young girls in sport and to get more people active. As netball is a new sport to the area they feel the best way for people to get to know it and love it is by showcasing it with trips for clubs and players from the UK etc.
Trips are aimed at all lovers of netball, beginners to experienced, individuals to squads. A maximum of 42 players on each of the 5 day trips will allow ample court time for all players, accommodation is private rental villas and townhouses with access to pools, transfers to and from the airport are included and the venue is located minutes away with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to visit, not to mention some great beaches.

Teams descended on Loughborough University on 10th and 24th March to take part in the East Midlands Regional U16 League. After lots of competition and some close encounters, the results ended:

Sport England- Club Leaders programme
Club secretaries, treasurers and many other volunteers who help keep grassroots sport alive, will be able to develop skills in business and financial planning, marketing, governance and facilities management in ways that suit them. Through the interactive Club Leaders website leaders of sports clubs can access e-learning modules and take courses at a time and place convenient to them. They can also get involved in face-to-face seminars or sign up for one-to-one mentoring with delivery partner PwC, whose local staff will share their business expertise with the community sports sector.
