East Midlands Netball Regional Celebration Event
When: Saturday 16th June 2012 Where: Netball Centre, Loughborough University, LE11 3TU AGM: 10:30 – 11:30am Celebration Event: 12pm – 3:30pm The event will see our regional Goalden Globe winners announced, competition winners will receive their prizes and a raffle will be held to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Entertainment includes a high 5 game, an exciting fast net game plus some acro gymnastics. Entry is free, but registration to attend is compulsory. Superleague Showdown heads for Sporthouse - TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
England Netball’s elite players will head to Sporthouse, in Dagenham, London, the UK’s largest indoor mutli-use sports hall, for the culmination of The 2012 FIAT Netball Superleague (FNSL) season. The Superleague Showdown will see the top 4 teams from the FNSL go head to head in the Semi-finals and Grand Final on the 19th and 20th May. The Showdown will include the 3 highest placed teams from the FNSL Top Tier, and the winner of the Play-off fixture between the 4th placed team from the top tier and highest placed team from the bottom tier. Tickets for the event are on sale NOW and can be purchased from Ticketline - by clicking HERE. The weekend is guaranteed to be hugely popular with Netball fans from across country so fans are asked to purchase their tickets now to avoid disappointment. Ticket prices start from just £10, with special offers available for groups and those wishing to see both Semi-finals, the 3rd v 4th place play-off and the Grand Final. |
Speaking about the Showdown, FNSL General Manager Mike Watson said: ‘We are delighted to be taking the Superleague Showdown to Sporthouse in what will undoubtedly be a premier facility for the sport of Netball’s premier competition. The level of competition throughout the season has been outstanding, and having spoken with the many coaches and players I know they are expecting a weekend of high quality, tough competition."

T1 = Top Tier team finishing in league position 1
T2 = Top Tier team finishing in league position 2
T3 = Top Tier team finishing in league position 3
T4 = Winner of the Play-off fixture
