Regional Treasurer

East Midlands Netball is looking for an organised and reliable Treasurer to support the financial stability and continued growth of netball across our region. You don’t need to be a finance professional - just someone with good attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️Manage regional finances in line with decisions made by the Regional Management Board (RMB)

✔️Keep accurate records of all regional income and expenditure

✔️Attend Governance and Finance meetings as required

✔️Prepare a written report for RMB meetings and annual report and balance sheet for the AGM

✔️Ensure Technical Support Group (TSG) budgets are set and agreed by the RMB

✔️Recommend action on financial matters to the RMB

✔️Provide guidance to TSGs on the regional financial processes

✔️Make payments as requested, including regular payments to umpires

✔️Pay expenses as detailed in the Regional constitution

✔️Record and monitor all transactions and keep accurate records of Region income and expenditure

✔️Undergo audits when requested

Skills & Experience

✅Member of England Netball

✅Strong organisational and record keeping skills

✅Be able to produce budgets and forecasts

✅ Effective communication skills

✅ Basic accounting knowledge

Time Commitment

⏰Variable - Average 2-3 hours per week
