Last Wednesday saw Iceni take on Nottingham Knights in the East Midlands Netball Regional League Division 2 (17/10/12). The re-arranged fixture at Loughborough University’s Netball Centre saw Iceni begin strongly, taking a 15-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Nottingham Knights came back though and even won the third quarter by a goal. However, with consistent shooting, smooth-play through the mid-court and strong defence from Iceni, Nottingham Knights struggled to close in on Iceni’s first quarter lead.
The final score was Iceni 43 – 32 Nottingham Knights.
