Young Volunteer Award
Outstanding
contribution to netball as a volunteer under the age of 25 years old. The
nominee should have volunteered for a minimum of 2 years in any capacity of

Nominee,
their educational establishment or netball club must be affiliated to England

Outstanding Netball Club Award
Presented
to a netball club who has made an outstanding contribution within their
community
Nominated
clubs must be affiliated to England Netball and hold a current CAPS award

clubs must have been active for a minimum of 3 years

Unsung Hero Award
Outstanding
contribution to netball through the delivery of club netball, The nominee
should have volunteered for a minimum of 5 years in any capacity within club
netball
Nominee
of their club must be affiliated to England Netball
Rose Award
Volunteers
or an organisation are eligible to be nominated
The
award is open to none affiliated England Netball members
The
nominee will have made an exceptional contribution to netball in any capacity
with particular impact between 1st April 2014 and 31st
March 2015
Quality
of service is important not length of service
Volunteering
must be for a minimum of 25 years at County, Regional, National or
International level and be outside playing history
Volunteering
can be split to achieve a minimum of 25 years’ service
Self-nomination
is permitted
All
nominations must be seconded by a County Association
East Midlands Long Service Award
Awarded
to any registered participant or member of an
affiliated school who has given service to the region (not club or county) for
at least 10 years (this need not be consecutive) within any capacity i.e., Player,
Umpire, Coach, Administrator, Volunteer, Table Official etc.
Jean Staley Award
Nominee
should have been involved at Club, County and Region in one or more of
the following roles: Administration, Umpire or Coach.
Emphasis
is on work done at ALL levels (although not necessarily the same discipline)
over a period of at least 5 years.
East Midlands Jean Bourne B2N Award
Nominee must have taken part in an
East Midlands Back to Netball session for at least 6 months and have completed
an England Netball Back to Netball Participant Registration Form
Nominations
should be able to demonstrate how Back to Netball has impacted in a
particularly positive way on the Back to Netballer’s personal life-style and
also their involvement in their local community
All nominations should be seconded by
a Back to Netball Coach or by an England Netball Development Officer/Community
Coach.
Open to any individual or netball provider, eg club, school, event organiser, who has demonstrated commitment to making netball inclusive to sections of their community.
Must have provided an inclusive environment or programme, such as a disability netball event, or made adjustments to cater for the needs of a person or group who have any protected characteristic.
