Birmingham, Liverpool and Sheffield get ready…England & Jamaica are coming!

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!

England Netball is pleased to confirm that this September will see the return of International Netball to these shores when England face Jamaica in a three match series. Following a convincing 3-0 series win in April against Barbados, England will head to the LG Arena in Birmingham, the Echo Arena Liverpool and the EIS, Sheffield looking to maintain their number 3 world ranking against a Jamaica side currently sitting close behind ranked  4th in the current IFNA standings.

England Head Coach, Anna Mayes, will look for her side to build upon the series victory against Barbados and step up to the challenge that the Jamaican squad will present. Having just completed a 2-1 home series victory over South Africa, Jamaica will arrive full of confidence. In recent years, there has been a healthy rivalry between the two teams, with vital matches in the Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi and the World Netball Championships in 2011 in Singapore both going England’s way and securing bronze medals at both competitions for Mayes’ side.
Jamaica, also known as the Sunshine Girls, will look to bring some Caribbean flair to the series, in what promises to be a highly competitive and passionate trio of matches which is a great opportunity to see the full exhilarating experience of witnessing international netball live!
