East Midlands Bursary
East Midlands Netball is pleased to announce a bursary is available to help the development of netball throughout the region.
The bursary (up to £400) is available to all East Midlands Netball affiliated volunteers/clubs/teams to support the development of and increase opportunities for netballers aged 12-25. This could be done by establishing:

The bursary (up to £400) is available to all East Midlands Netball affiliated volunteers/clubs/teams to support the development of and increase opportunities for netballers aged 12-25. This could be done by establishing:
- a new junior club/section
- a 16-19 pay as you play session
- a satellite club for over 12 netball activity
Criteria:
- The project must increase participation in netball within the East Midlands
- Priority will be given to clubs with CAPS status/working towards
- Priority will be given to those projects producing innovative ways of increasing participation and focussing on underrepresented activities within their area
- The project must aim to create a minimum of 15 new netballers in each club/team/new session
What the funding can be used for:
- Hire of venue/court space
- Equipment
- Coaching fees
- Promotion and marketing of activities
- England Netball UKCC courses / umpiring awards / CPD (i.e., On the Move)
What the funding cannot be used for:
- England Netball membership fees
- Retrospective funding
Monitoring:
- ·Successful applicants will be requested to feedback their participant figures to their Netball Development Officer on a monthly basis
- ·Your Netball Development Officer will visit the club throughout the project to help produce a case study which will be submitted at the end of the project, highlighting how the funding was spent
