The finals took place at the University of Worcester Arena on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May 2019.
Congratulations to Market Harborough coming 4th and Briggs coming 13th after very tough draw in the second stage of the competition ...!!!!! Well done to all of the players, coaches, officials, supporters and volunteers for a fantastic weekend of Netball...!!! The tournament was played on Sunday 7th April 2019 between two teams from each of the five Counties, using a “Round Robin” format.
The standard of competition was good – it seems to increase every year with the height of the players! There were a number of close matches with18 of the 45 results being within 3 goals. All the teams seemed to enjoy themselves and gain from the experience with matches played in a good spirit over a long day. The eventual winners were Brigg and District, with Market Harborough Meerkats beating Northampton Storm to second place by 1 point. Brigg and Market Harborough will go on the represent the Region at the National Finals to be held on May 25th/26th 2019 at the University of Worcester Arena. We wish them every success. The tournament was played on Sunday 19th May 2019 at NUSA. There were 16 entries so the tournament was organised in two groups of 8 teams with play-offs for final positions.

The weather stayed fine and warm despite some threatening clouds so the hastily erected gazebos were not needed.
