The University of Nottingham are looking to appoint two Netball Coaches to assist the development of the University of Nottingham Netball Club. Based predominantly at the University Park Campus the coaches will assist with the training, preparation and support of teams competing in the BUCS Leagues, with an initial commitment of 7 hours per week in University Term plus 2-4 hours on Wednesday match afternoons if available. Both posts will be generously remunerated in line with NGB standards and University pay rates.
With at least two years experience of coaching netball at senior club level the University of Nottingham Head Netball Coach will lead the overall playing policy of the club, with a performance coaching focus with two senior teams. The University of Nottingham Netball Development Coach will lead the BUCS preparation of the third, fourth and fifth teams and may offer aspiring coaches a first role into a performance coaching environment. Both posts are available with immediate effect for the 2013/14 season.

Back to Netball fever hits Northamptonshire
On Saturday 25th April over 40 women and girls competed in the first ever County ‘Back to Netball’ festival at Moulton Sports Complex. Back to netball programmes have been established across the county and formed teams to play in the festival. The day started off by a mass warm up led by Michelle Coles, B2N Wellingborough Coach and a round robin competition to decide the 2013 Summer B2N Champions. Kelly Walker, Netball Development Officer for Northamptonshire said ‘It was fantastic to see so many women and girls getting back on the court and having fun. A big thank you to the volunteers and umpires who made it a successful day. Congratulations to Corby Netball Club and Furtureprint Netball Club
Corby Netball Club Under 12’s won the East Midlands Regional Clubs Tournament on Sunday 12th May and came out undefeated champions. Coach Hazel McConnel said 'I am so pleased for the girls they have worked hard all season and of course a great achievement for Corby Netball Club.'
Futureprint Netball Club were crowned Under 14 Regional champions and played in the England Netball National Finals on Saturday 25th May 2013. Coach Julie Long said ‘We had a great weekend and it was good for the girls to experience netball at such a high level. We finished a credible 15th and it has given the girls the incentive to work even harder to get to the National finals again.
