Talent Identification Workshop
Course Summary:
The aim of this workshop is to provide teachers and club coaches with the knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of a talented athlete in order to nominate athletes to an appropriate level within the County Excel pathway (Satellite and County Academy Level). The workshop will include theory and practical observation sessions.
Outcomes:
Teachers/Coaches will leave the workshop with an understanding of:
The England Netball Excel Programmes and Structures
The characteristics of a talented athlete
Processes for talent identification and selection
Selection methods and considerations

Club coaches or teachers involved in the nomination process of athletes to satellite and county academy structures.
